We will make a later, more detailed post about cabin access.

Here is a rundown of the cabins at the camp. You can find a nice, thorough list of what space and facilities each building has here: http://www.tabercreek.com/sit…

The camp is getting renamed to "Taber Creek," but for now we will reference the Pomperaug map, for building locations: https://www.ctyankee.org/wp-c…

In a few days we will put out a survey, to see if we can get people into the slightly-warmer cabins for sleeping. For "covid pod" isolation purposes, it is likely that any building (even if it has multiple "bedrooms") is only suitable for a single pod, but that depends on how strict you'd like to be.

The following are our long-term plans for these buildings. Many details are not true for our first season.

Mohegan, Treamone, Uncowa, and Oronoque: these are the 4 main "lean-to" sites. We intend these 4 sites to be the main player sleeping areas. We have permission to staple tarps over the screens, and (apparently) there will be some more permanent solution in the long run.

Multi-Purpose Building: the two-story building with bathrooms and showers on the first floor. (Note: "shower house" on the map is essentially a lie.) In the long run, we intend to use the 2nd floor as logistics and staff sleeping. The first floor will always be open to everyone, players and staff. This building does not have heat, but does have hot water.

Health Lodge and Director's Cabin: (these are near parking) these are two cabins, each with a bathroom, kitchenette, and an old-school wood stove. In the long run, we intend to use these as "staff center" and staff sleeping. If we can get the wood stoves running safely, you can always drop by to warm up. If we can keep them safely running overnight, we may be able to open up some of the sleeping to players who are not prepared for the cold.

Chief's Lodge: This is where the caretaker stays. Knock if you need anything.

Camp Office: Going by the list of facilities, this is the "nice" building, because it has real heating (we were not aware of that last event). Though it has 2 bedrooms, the beds are not evenly distributed: 1 has 3 bunks (sleeps 6), the other has 1 bunk (sleeps 2). IMPORTANT NOTE: this building is ramp accessible, and people who need that will be given priority.

Program Building: This building has a ramp, but the door at the ramp is blocked off.

Cook's Cabin: This one is small, but very close to the tavern.

Waterfront Building ("Lifeguard Tower"): The upper story has sleeping. Note, it has neither glass windows nor screens; you shut the windows with wooden inserts. Also the second floor is essentially accessed via a ladder.

Algonquin: This 2-room cabin can sleep quite a few people if they are comfortable staying together. We may occasionally use it for mod space, but it can also be open for sleeping.

Pequonnock: This cabin sleeps 10, but is currently very run down. We intend to use it as mod space. We do not recommend it for sleeping.
