The rulebook has been updated to the "FINAL PRERELEASE" version. (The next version will be 1.0, after the final approval process, etc., this summer.) Changes in descending order of note:
The "Thrown Spellstriking" skill has been replaced by "Ranged Spellstriking," which applies to both thrown and projectile weapons.
The "Projectile Spellstriking" skill, under the Projectile Weapon Header, has been removed.
The "Water Trip" and "Water Beat" spells, under the Water Header, have been replaced by:
"Crash," a spell for either Water Trip or Water Beat
"Freeze," a Water Root spell with some casting limitations
"Resurrection" has been clarified and expanded to remove all Slay, Stun, Root, and Silence effects (Root and Silence are new there).
"Magic Healing" has been clarified (again), that it causes the Stun effect.
The "Focused Flame" spell has been renamed to "Lightning Bolt" (no mechanical changes; still a Fire spell).
Slip knot variations, like foundation chains, are officially allowed for spell charging. (Also, explicitly, no hangman's nooses.)
A few other very minor clarifications and text fixes were made.
For "Resurrection" and "Magic Healing," you can get new skill cards from staff. That is also still true for "Awaken" cards, if you still have the older "20 seconds" version.
